Simon is a Partner in Deloitte’s UK Actuarial Insurance & Banking practice, leading on the practice’s Actuarial Transformation proposition globally.
With over 30 years of experience working globally and with Deloitte across Europe and Asia (Hong Kong), Simon’s expertise extends to actuarial reporting and audit under IFRS, US GAAP, and Solvency II work, including pan-Asia Solvency II implementation. He has successfully led IFRS 17 implementation programs and conducted M&A due diligence and valuation work across Europe and Asia. He has led various actuarial transformation programs, encompassing step-change change to actuarial cash flow systems, development and reporting processes, team and responsibility structures, and operating controls. He also coordinates some of the firm’s largest relationships with global insurers, across the range of Consulting, Advisory, Technology, Risk, Tax, and M&A services.
