Simon is a Chartered Accountant with a background in tech transaction financial diligence. He now leads the Startup Venture team in London. Startup Ventures exists to change the way Deloitte solves client problems with a capability that enables effective startup collaboration at scale:
- Identifying leading B2B technology start-ups to invest in, and partner with.
- Building relationships with startups, VCs and accelerators.
- Completing commercial due diligence and deal execution activities - negotiating commercial contracts, and term sheets. Validating market size & demand, building the investment case.
- Development of a suite of tools and best practices that enable teams in every step of the startup collaboration process.
