Neliswa Hare

Neliswa is the UK lead for our Climate resilience offering. She specialises in climate resilience and adaptation. Neliswa supports our clients by developing meaningful pathways to becoming resilient, and continuously adapting to climate shocks within their operations and communities they work in. Prior to joining Deloitte UK, she led Deloitte Africa’s World Impact team, focusing on supporting internal projects on social impact and climate.

An entrepreneur by background Neliswa co-founded a business focused on sustainability (that was acquired by Deloitte) and has worked with clients across different sectors advising on the societal impact.

Neliswa is a Mandela Washington Fellow, a former World Economic Forum Global Shaper and was a member of the Presidential Youth working group for a former president of South Africa.

Neliswa is passionate about sustainable development and climate change. Having grown up in a developing economy, the idea of sustainable development is not a theoretical concept but a lived reality.
