Mustafa is a Director in Deloitte UK’s SRTA practice and leads their blockchain and digital assets practice in the UK. He has a broad understanding of the regulatory landscape in the UK as a former MLRO and compliance officer with over 13 years financial services experience.
He takes a keen interest in the regulation of cryptoassets and has worked with several firms looking to advance in the digital assets space. He specialises in supporting clients with enhancing their risk management frameworks to manage risks across various domains including compliance & regulations, operations and strategy & reputation. His experience includes working with US and UK tier 1 banks supporting in the formulation of their early digital asset strategy and uplift of their target operating models for incorporating digital asset products & services including tokenisation PoCs/Pilots.
