Kate is an audit partner with 24 years’ experience working with large, complex Private Equity backed and listed businesses.
She leads our national Private Capital audit business, leading a team focussed across auditing the largest and most complex privately owned and private equity backed businesses, across a range of industries throughout the lifecycle of investment, growth and acquisition and through to exit, including listing.
Kate's own specialism is Private Equity Backed businesses. She understands the complexities and nuances of operating in a private equity environment, with a focus on value generation and the need to consider the broader stakeholder requirements.
She has led a number of listed (equity and debt) company audits and has a wealth of experience in listed company reporting and governance obligations, with extensive experience of listed company transactions, including IPOs, rights issues and bond issues and subsequent reporting.
Kate is also the UK A&A Culture Lead.
