Ian is a senior audit partner and Vice Chairman in London and leads, or has led the audits of many FTSE 350 groups in sectors including retail, engineering, services, TMT and property. Clients have included Marks and Spencer, GKN, Ferguson, DS Smith, Compass, Ashtead, Hammerson and Informa.
Ian has been at Deloitte for 32 years, 21 as a partner, working in London and Boston.
As well as international audits, Ian regularly leads transaction support projects, including cross‑border due diligence, working capital reviews and reporting accountant roles for acquisitions, rights issues, IPOs, disposals and demergers.
Ian joined Deloitte after graduating from Exeter University with a BSC in Biology.
