Debbie Young is a healthcare partner in our Consulting practice and a Vice Chair in the UK Firm. Vice Chairs are some of Deloitte’s most senior client facing partners who are appointed to help our partnership make a greater impact on our clients through their market knowledge and relationships.
She has 29 years of international experience in advising organizations, regulators, Boards and other stakeholders within both the public and private sectors on strategic, operational and financial transformation. Debbie typically leads large multi-disciplinary teams, with a particular focus on assessing the capabilities of an organization, developing options and working collaboratively with stakeholders to implement solutions. The nature of this work requires significant Board interaction and coaching and supporting senior executives as they go through a period of change. She has also held a number of Talent leadership roles in the firm and is passionate about diversity and developing future leaders.
Debbie has worked with NHS organisations for c14 years. Prior to focusing on public sector clients, Debbie spent 20 years working on financial restructuring and transactions engagements across a variety of sectors with a specific focus on healthcare and life sciences. In addition, she is the UK/Middle East health corridor lead which will see her support the development of our healthcare business regularly spending time in the region.
Public sector clients have included: CQC; DHSC; NHSE/I and various healthcare providers and systems across England.
