Chris Overd

Chris is a director in our US capitals markets group that specialises in directs listings, US IPOs and SPACs, and the ongoing financial reporting and SOX implications that go with them, with particular focus on companies in the Technology, Media and Telecoms sectors. As part of his role leading the day to day support we provide to both audit and advisory clients who are considering SPAC transactions, in the UK and across much of Europe and the Middle East, Chris understand the complex project management, structuring and SEC reporting challenges which can arise as part of the pre-listing process, and typical solutions used to manage them in tight deal timetables. He guides companies on the factors which reduce or delay ongoing regulatory requirements, in particular quarterly financial reporting and the potential need for an accelerated SOX implementation programme.
