Cindy joined Deloitte Canada in 1993, and was admitted to the UK partnership in 2007.
She specialises in advising financial services firms on risk management, regulatory changes and governance matters, working closely with executives and Boards at retail banks, insurance and wealth management organisations. She is an experienced Skilled Person working closely with UK financial services regulators on regulatory investigations. She led our National Retail Conduct and Governance team in Risk Advisory for over 15 years.
In January 2023 Cindy was appointed UK Managing Partner for our Risk Advisory practice, which provides advisory services across Internal Audit and controls, operational risk, regulation, sustainability and climate, cyber and resilience, finance and digital transformation, AI and data.
Cindy has held a number of management and governance roles in Deloitte:
- Member of the NSE Board
- UK Oversight Board for a short time
- UK Financial Services Industry leader for Risk Advisory
- People & Purpose Lead for Risk Advisory and has been a member of the UK Firm’s Partnership Committee. She is passionate about our Diversity and Inclusion agenda and is a member of the Financial Services Women in Leadership Council.
Cindy is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She was an external auditor for many years, leading on the provision of external audit services to a range of investment management firms.
