Bhaskar Acharya

Bhaskar is a partner at Deloitte and heads the EMEA Financial Restructuring Practice. He has c.15 years of experience in distressed market, with a strong focus on special situations, financial restructurings and leverage loan market. Prior to Deloitte, Bhaskar was with Apollo where he helped to build the special situation and distressed investment platform in Europe. Having been trained at Houlihan Lokey in their restructuring team, Bhaskar has worked with banks (HSBC & Barclays), hedge funds, private debt and CLO managers in his long career and truly appreciates the motivation/ ambition of various types of investors.
