Driving the need for innovation are growing and ageing populations, the increasing prevalence of non-communicable diseases and chronic conditions, workforce shortages and an increasingly knowledgeable and empowered consumer base. However, innovative companies struggle to get their products to market due to a series of challenges, and as a result, diagnostics testing is taking much longer, causing backlogs in healthcare systems.
