We created a Gen AI-powered GenAI-powered Knowledge Assistant that helps employees with quick knowledge retrieval and document summarization
In knowledge-intensive organizations, managing information effectively can be a daunting task. We all know the challenge of spending hours in search of specific information, only to resort to asking colleagues, who then divert their time to provide answers. These responses may even be incorrect or outdated, adding to the inefficiency. Repeatedly answering the same queries also leads to unnecessary duplication of effort. Recognizing these challenges, we partnered with the company to explore an innovative solution: Could Generative AI (Gen AI) be leveraged to expedite knowledge retrieval, thereby minimizing repetitious tasks and ensuring accurate, up-to-date responses? Since this company actively leverages Yammer for internal communication made this an ideal platform to start building this solution.
Leveraging our experience implementing AI solutions and in close collaboration with the global energy company we were able to build and deploy the GenAI-powered Knowledge Assistant in the span of a few months. The bot is now actively answering user questions with high accuracy based on internal documents. In addition it is setup in a scalable way to easily connect SharePoint knowledge bases on Yammer community needs

Agile Innovation Even before the buzz around GenAI was sparked by the introduction of ChatGPT in November 2022, our project was already underway. Thanks to our prior knowledge of the technology and our agile structure, we were able to swiftly integrate the latest advancements in GenAI to enhance the bot's performance.
Phased approach We adopted a phased method, which included building a proof of concept (POC), user testing, and expanding the reach to a wider audience. This was done with several go/no-go evaluation points throughout the process, leading to improved accuracy, value, and adoption.
Privacy / security / ethics By working hand in hand with the client energy company information risk management team, we ensured the solution was not only secure but also fully compliant with all relevant regulations.
