Second place on the Fast 50 ranking is, just like last year, for Maqqie. Maqqie offers an all-in-one work app that brings together all the arrangements around flexible work. The company achieved a revenue growth of 4638 per cent. Fintech company Bitvavo, last year's winner, takes third place this year with a revenue growth of 3737 per cent.
Rob de Leeuw, programme leader of the Technology Fast 50 and Partner at Deloitte: "Despite the declining economy, this year's winners have seized opportunities to keep growing. The changing world in which new technologies are rapidly evolving offers plenty of prospects for tech companies in the coming period."
The award for Most Sustainable Grower has once again been won by JouwWeb, an online website builder for small businesses. This award is presented to the company that has been on the Fast 50 ranking for the longest time. JouwWeb is in the ranking for the fifth year in a row and receives this award for the second time in a row.
Promising technology companies that have been founded in the past four years have a chance to win the Rising Star Award at the Fast 50. Four finalists convincingly presented themselves on stage in front of a professional jury and the audience. Axelera AI has been named Rising Star 2023 by the professional jury. Axelera AI develops cutting-edge AI-native hardware and an artificial intelligence software platform. For the first time, this year, an audience award was also awarded. The Public Choice Award 2023 was won by Maeve Aerospace. The company is developing the world's first fully electric and zero-emission aircraft for regional flights.
