Peter van Nes

Peter is a Partner in Cyber, Technology & Transformation at Deloitte Netherlands, with over 17 years’ experience in Cyber Defence and 16 years at the firm. He leads the firm’s MXDR practice in the Netherlands, is responsible for MXDR delivery locally and sits on Deloitte’s Global Detect & Respond leadership team. Peter has experience overseeing the delivering of MXDR at scale using Microsoft technologies and tooling including EDR, SIEM, IDR, SOAR+AI, TIP, EASM, CSPM and CWP. He has led large SOC advisory and implementation engagements and worked on IT auditing, security assessments, penetration testing and data analytics. He holds an MSc in Computer Science, a Registered EDP Auditor Postmaster degree and CISA, CISM and CISSP certifications.
