Michiel started his professional career in 2001 after a study mechanical engineering (BEng.) and Business Administration (MSc.). Before working for Deloitte he worked at a corporate finance boutique. During this period he obtained a degree in financial law (LL.M). In 2007 he joined the lead advisory department within Deloitte FA, Corporate Finance. He advises companies with mergers & acquisitions. In general serving mainly family owned (midmarket) companies and corporates. Specific industry focus: Business Services and Transport & Logistics.
