Corporate reporting: From complexity to clarity

Join us on 5 November 2026 as we navigate the future of corporate reporting: featuring IFRS 18, governance, and the rise of AI.

Fraud and reporting failures back in the headlines. AI reshaping the process. IFRS 18 rewriting the primary statements. Corporate reporting is not a compliance exercise, it is a strategic imperative that underpins trust, resilience, and long-term value creation.

On 5 November, Deloitte will convene regulators, CEOs, CFOs, audit committee members, board directors, internal auditors and finance leaders for a high-impact conference focused on the forces reshaping the corporate reporting landscape.

Senior representatives from the MFSA, MGA, and leading industry stakeholders will share practical insights on recurring reporting pitfalls, heightened regulatory scrutiny, and the transition to IFRS 18, one of the most significant transformations in financial reporting in over two decades.

The MFSA will focus on the principal weaknesses it observes in the reporting of companies operating in capital markets and other regulated spaces within its remit, while the MGA will address the same questions from the regulated gaming perspective. The issues they raise extend well beyond regulated entities: the governance expectations placed on private and family-owned businesses continue to rise, and the discussion is framed accordingly.

The agenda will also address how breakdowns in governance, internal controls, and oversight continue to drive reporting failures and corporate scandals, and what leading organisations are doing to stay ahead. Looking forward, the conference will explore the growing influence of artificial intelligence, technology risk, and European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) on reporting quality, transparency, and stakeholder confidence.

Join us to gain forward-looking insights, benchmark your approach, and engage directly with the regulators and experts shaping the future of corporate reporting.
