An overview on ELTIFs | Real Estate and Infrastructure

On September 10th 2024, we will have the pleasure to focus attention on the ELTIF v2 - European Long-Term Investment Fund.

While the market remains challenging for raising funds for real estate and infrastructure, the ELTIF v2 allows to get access to retail investors money offering new opportunities for assets managers looking at diversifying their source of capital while at the same time offering investors the opportunity to invest into long term alternative assets.

This Webinar will bring together industry experts to discuss and explore the latest trends, opportunities, and challenges in the ELTIF v2 landscape from a legal, regulatory and tax perspective.

Luxembourg has positioned itself as the prime leading jurisdiction in EU for setting-up this vehicle, you will understand what type of vehicle is available for ELTIF as well as the tax considerations. While in EU, there is no harmonized tax regime for this vehicle, you will get an update about the ELTIF from a European perspective.

Francisco joined Deloitte in 2008, and currently serves as a Partner in the Cross-Border Tax sector having been appointed as Real Estate Tax Leader and Infrastructure Sector Leader for Deloitte Luxembourg. Francisco has extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, especially in the Real Assets industry (encompassing Real Estate and Infrastructure). He has developed expertise not only in Luxembourg but also with a focus on Pan-EU businesses in this Industry, where he assists a wide variety of public and private clients in the Real Estate and Infrastructure sector. As part of his work, Francisco handles international tax structuring advice for these clients and assists them in all phases and levels related to Alternative Investment Funds. Francisco is as well a frequent speaker in conferences and author of several articles related to International Tax. He is an active member of INREV, GIIA, ALFI and the LPEA. He is a Lawyer registered in the Portuguese Bar Association and since the beginning of his career has always performed its activity in the field of international tax. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.

Zudem ist er der richtige Ansprechpartner für sämtliche steuerliche Fragestellungen rund um die Immobilie.
