Shailesh Narwaiye is an Executive Director with Deloitte's Strategy and Business Design Practice. He is based out of Pune and has been advising clients in GBS advisory space for more than 20 years. His expertise is on global service delivery model, GBS set-ups and transformation, location strategy, outsourcing program executions, vendor management office (VMO) and large scale program management.
Shailesh is a SME on location advisory services and has worked with more than 75+ clients (domestic and global) on entry strategy, location comparasion analysis, site selection and real estate negotiations.
Shailesh has gained experience in working with clients across USA, Europe, Africa, APAC and India region. He has managed 24*7 IT Operations for one of the large banking clients during early stage of his career.
He has extensively worked in Banking, Finacial Services, Automotive and CPG sector.
Summary of Relevant Experience:
- Led the large scale GBS set-up and transition work for one of largest Automobile firms in India across Finance, SCM, Customer Service and HR services for transition of more than 800 staff from multiple office and plan locations
- Led, designed and program managed a transition for 1,000+ roles into a GBS center from high cost locations (including vendor staff) to India for one of the large UK based banks
- Part of large scale business transformation and back office set-up initiative for one of large telecom companies in Africa region
- Designed IT Operating model for one of large Oil and Gas firm including DevOps journey for the client
- Developed a vendor management strategy for one of the largest aluminum manufacturing companies including road-map for the vendor interaction and global service delivery
- Developed location selection strategy for a leading IT-BPO service provider and a consumer credit card rating agency
- Led vendor selection and IT operating model set-up for one of the large insurance firm
