Saraswathi Kasturirangan is the Chief Happiness Officer for Deloitte India, a role that she originated in April 2023.
Saras, as she prefers to be addressed, is a vocal advocate for gender balance, equality, holistic well-being, and a happy and stress-free workplace.
As the Chief Happiness Officer, Saras’s purview extends to all the aspects that propel happiness amongst the workforce. This includes physical and mental well-being, DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) covering gender, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, disability and neurodiversity inclusion; and employee engagement. The Chief Happiness Officer is an integral part of the Deloitte India’s national leadership, ensuring that employee happiness has a seat directly at the decision-making table.
Saras has been with Deloitte since 2007, and is also a seasoned leader in the Tax function.
As a cancer winner, she is passionate about changing fear to hope amongst cancer patients, and conducts extensive outreach focusing on motivating and inspiring those affected.
