Richard Houston

CEO – Deloitte EMEA | Executive Group

Richard is CEO of Deloitte EMEA. He is also a member of Deloitte’s Global Executive.

Deloitte EMEA was created on 1 June 2026, bringing together 16 Participating Firms and spanning over 80 countries. The firm has more than 132,000 people and 6,000 partners, with revenues of EUR20bn.

Prior to his EMEA role, Richard led Deloitte UK and Deloitte North & South Europe for seven years. He previously led their respective Consulting practices.

During his leadership tenure, Richard has been a strong champion of digital inclusion, and has consistently advocated for the role businesses can play in helping to close the digital divide.

Richard has over 30 years of experience in Consulting and Financial Services. He joined Deloitte in 2002 having previously worked at Arthur Andersen, Royal Bank of Scotland and HSBC.
