Chandrashekar Mantha is a Partner at Deloitte India and leads the media sector for South Asia (SA). He is also serving as the Chief Strategy and Growth Officer for the SA Assurance practice. He brings over two decades of cross-industry experience in governance, risk, controls and compliance, having led multinational clients and teams in assurance, risk advisory, internal audit and marketing transformation projects.
A core focus of Chandrashekar’s role has been building and expanding Deloitte India’s advertising and marketing advisory offerings. He has spearheaded the development of innovative solutions in content production advisory, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), events and awards, sports advisory and other related offerings. His notable global engagements include the “London 2012 Olympics,” where he collaborated with various member firms to deliver unique solutions. He also played a crucial role in acquiring a niche advertising and marketing advisory firm in India, which significantly strengthened Deloitte India’s capabilities in the area.
Chandrashekar has authored several white papers and frequently shares insights on market trends through media publications and appearances in India. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He also has a postgraduate diploma in Digital Marketing and Communication from MICA, reflecting his strong blend of financial, business and digital marketing acumen.
