Abhinava is a Partner in the Financial Services Governance, Risk & Regulatory practice in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP with over 12 years of professional experience in advising several Indian and global clients from the corporate and financial services sectors. He has an MBA with IIM Kolkata and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
Abhinava’s portfolio of service offerings within the financial services range from providing concurrent/ internal audit services all the way to supporting a financial institution’s system implementation, quantitative model development, and risk management frameworks. Abhinava has worked with over 200 banks and financial institutions across various countries.
In addition, being a member of the Indian arm of Deloitte’s Global Corporate Treasury Advisory Services, Abhinava’s portfolio of services include offerings around financial risk management, accounting, valuation & performance management, financial supply chain & liquidity management and treasury operations and technology services.
Abhinava has authored several Thought Leadership publications on financial risk management, model risk management, and capital efficiency for banks and financial institutions. He has also been a panelist on several conferences, providing unique perspectives on the evolving risk management and compliance landscape. He also conducts training seminars for industry professionals, on a wide range of financial risk and treasury areas, in association with Fixed Income and Money Market Dealers association (FIMMDA).
