According to Arghya continuous learning in AI is extremely essential to stay updated on various new-age tech and integrate the same into our work to offer better solutions to our clients.

Can you share the most interesting part of your career journey?

I have seen client-facing greenfield and brownfield engagements throughout my career as an AI and data professional. This has enabled me to work alongside industry veterans in terms of disruptive technologies, strategy through implementation, enterprise-wide data, ML and AI framework foundation and large-scale business transformations. However, if I have to choose the most interesting part out of this journey, it must be the phase when I transitioned from a delivery-focused “AI & Analytics Translator” role to a purpose-focused “Client Success Orchestrator” role as I stepped into my leadership journey. It enabled me to actively engage with client leadership across the industry and help them achieve profitable business outcomes, using the power of AI and data analytics. It elevated my engagement from focused delivery and operations to transformation-oriented boardroom conversations with our clients. It has also enabled me to persistently demonstrate outcome-focused quality service delivery. Therefore, I have been able to establish ourselves as a trusted partner for multiple strategic clients. It has also helped me to actively collaborate and build relationships across teams and geographies to deliver diverse AI and data storefront offerings to our clients.

What excites you the most about working with data and AI?

As I work with clients from diverse sectors to help them solve various challenging business problems, I often get overwhelmed by the amazing observations, insights and actionable outcomes generated by analysing various data points. What excites me more is that, with rapidly evolving technologies in the AI and data space over the last few years, from Big Data and cloud platforms to Generative AI and now Agentic AI, we are able to drastically reduce the “data to insights to actions” timeframe for our clients, enabling them to monetise untapped opportunities in almost near-real time. This has a significant impact on the business of our clients in terms of revenue growth, cost reductions and operational efficiency.

What also excites me further is that we have innovation and asset development deeply embedded into the heart of what we do as our daily work, along with the liberty to experiment to foster such innovations. Another important and interesting aspect is the continuous learning we experience, as it is extremely essential to stay updated on various new-age tech and integrate the same into our work to offer better solutions to our clients.

Describe an interesting project that you have worked on.

I would like to mention a first-of-its-kind AI-based greenfield transformational engagement I delivered a few years back for a domestic telecom client. The client approached us since they were facing revenue decline and multiple operational challenges, such as losing customers to competitors, a dip in usage, dormant users, inefficient campaigns, frequent customer complaints, etc.

We helped them turn around operations and enhance revenue, with tangible outcomes within six months. We implemented various predictive, prescriptive and cognitive AI modules to deliver a robust and sustainable AI/ML-based hyper-personalised Customer Value Management (CVM) framework, along with a recommendation engine and campaign execution framework. It resulted in ~30 percent incremental revenue across all operating units, 25 percent reduction in user churn, 3 percent growth in Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), 35 percent shift of dormant user base to active user base and ~70 percent increment in campaign taker rate.
