Balazs is Financial Services Industry Banking Leader in Central Europe and the Managing Partner of Deloitte Hungary. He has 18 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A transactions. In recent years he was focusing mainly on banking M&A and portfolio transactions, and led several restructuring and post-merger value creation services engagements in the banking universe.
Csaba is a Partner at our Advisory service line, leading IT Risk and Technology Advisory services in Hungary. He has more than 12 years of experience in IT consulting and audit services and 5 years of experience in IT operation. He has led several system implementation, IT cost benchmarking, IT due diligence, feasibility, vendor selection, IT Risk and Compliance and SAP Authorization projects, primarily in the banking, utility and pharma sectors in Hungary.
Gábor Molnár is a partner in Deloitte Hungary’s Audit and Advisory service line with 18 years experience, he is a chartered auditor. He has significant experience in preparation and auditing of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS and Hungarian accounting regulations. Gábor is a derivatives and securities valuation expert and specialized in providing services focusing on financial institutions.
Zoltán is Partner-in-Charge at the Tax Department of Deloitte Hungary. He is the Service Line leader of the Indirect Tax group which deals primarily with value added tax and customs related issues. Currently, Zoltán focuses his expertise on devising innovative IT solutions which facilitate VAT problem-solving, optimize VAT processes and identify risks for companies. One of these recent innovations within the industry is VATOnline. Zoltán joined Deloitte in 2007. Zoltán’s background in law enables him to provide practical and beneficial solutions to clients within the scope of European and domestic VAT legislation. In addition to providing services to many of the largest financial enterprises on the Hungarian market, he is also working in close cooperation with several other well-known associations. He has a legal degree from the University of Budapest and is a certified tax advisor. Zoltán is the co-author of a comprehensive manual on Hungarian VAT legislation published in 2015. Additionally, he is a well-known speaker at tax conferences and other professional events, as well as being a contributor of professional articles within the scope of indirect taxes.
Krisztina fókusza a banki ügyfelek kockázatkezelési gyakorlatának a transzformációja, beleértve az IFRS 9 és Bazel szabályozásnak való megfelelést, illetve a kockázatkezelési üzleti folyamatok eredményességét és hatékonyságát. Dr Gábor Baranyi is the Partner of Deloitte’s Global Employer Services. The Global Employer Services team provides support with various tax and other employment-related tasks, as well as with complex tax issues. Dedicated experts of the team, in close cooperation with Deloitte HR advisors, work on developing employee incentive programs, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans. Gábor often provides advisory services in personal tax issues, even in special cases such as trusts and private foundations. Gábor joined Deloitte’s Tax department in 2007, he is author of many professional publications and articles, and he is a regular speaker at legal and tax events.
Kornél joined our team in 1996, he works as a partner at our Audit Serviceline. He is an experienced practitioner in Hungarian statutory and international audit for industrial companies, telecommunication, technology and real estate sectors. His main specialization is to coordinate IFRS, USGAAP and statutory reporting, analyse the main differences between different accounting policies. Kornél is responsible for audit of major clients like Vodafone, Procter & Gamble, Daily Mail Group, UPS, AES Corporation, Graphisoft, FiberNet Group, SBS TV Group, Rocksprings Real Estate Group, Sykes, SBS TV2, and Wallis. The audit services for such clients include statutory audit, consolidation, IFRS reporting, US GAAP reporting statutory reporting and regular consultation about accounting and audit issues with clients.
Balazs is a partner at Deloitte Hungary Financial Advisory, and the regional CEE business risk leader. Balazs has 25 years of experience in transaction services and valuation and modelling. Balázs holds the Corporate Finance Qualification.
Eszter joined Deloitte Hungary's office in 2009 and is currently a Partner in the Audit department of the Budapest office. She is experienced in performing Hungarian statutory and international audits, as well as audit advisory and business valuation engagements. Her experience is typically gained in auditing companies in the manufacturing and service sectors, with a particular focus on auditing automotive companies and SSCs. Eszter also specializes in audit transformation. She is a regional and local leader in the implementation of several new audit technologies and methodologies.
As a qualified economist, Dorottya joined Deloitte's Hungarian practice in 2008 and currently works as the Partner of the tax department of the Budapest office. Her main field of expertise is indirect taxes and she has gained broad experience in the VAT and tax administration issues of domestic and foreign companies in the energy and pharmaceutical industries. Dorottya took part in several projects pertaining to tailoring ERP and invoicing systems to meet the Hungarian VAT regulations.
Zoltán is a partner at the Tax service line of Deloitte’s Budapest practice. He has degrees in law and economics and is a qualified tax advisor. Zoltán joined Deloitte in 2012 after working for a multinational company of a similar profile, and also as a corporate attorney. He has participated in a number of engagements involving clients operating in the financial services industry, manufacturing, electronic commerce and the real estate market. He has considerable experience in developing local and international VAT arrangements and supply chains, applying the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union concerning indirect taxes, as well as VAT administration and tax filing processes. Zoltán is a regular speaker at Deloitte's internal training courses and client seminars.
Péter Göndöcz is the Managing Partner of Deloitte Legal Hungary and Global Legal Leader for Private Equity. He is an attorney-at-law, member of the Budapest Bar Association. Péter graduated with distinction from the University of Pécs as lawyer in 2006, followed by an Msc diploma in Economics and another in Political Science from the same institution. He further broadened his expertise through advanced studies and professional courses at various international universities. Péter has worked at other international law firms before joining Deloitte Legal in 2014 and has nearly 20 years of professional experience. Péter serves as a lecturer in Mergers & Acquisitions and Joint Ventures for postgraduate students at the University of Pécs. Péter specializes in business law with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions, alongside expertise in commercial, corporate, and competition law across various sectors including financial services, energy, manufacturing, and investment management. His portfolio includes representation of multinational corporations as well as personalized counsel for high net-worth individuals regarding strategic wealth management and operational oversight of their portfolio companies. He speaks fluent English and German on an intermediate level.
Judit joined Deloitte in 2007 and is currently a partner, leading the Hungarian Actuarial and Insurance Solution team at Deloitte's Budapest practice. She has over twenty years of professional experience in the Insurance area. During the past nine years she has participated in various insurance and banking related projects in several countries (including countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Western Europe, the Middle East, CIS). Her projects included the area of M&A and audit support, actuarial modelling, pricing and valuations, strategy development, Solvency II, Embedded Value reviews.
Tamás has more than 21 years of professional experience (including 16 years of experience in managing audit engagements) and is currently a Partner at Deloitte's Audit service line. During this time he provided services to companies owned by important Hungarian and foreign investors. He also has experience in performing audits under the Hungarian statutory regulations and international audits, as well as audit advisory and business valuation engagements. He has participated in several non-audit engagements as well. These mainly included business valuations upon transformation and audit advisory and pre-privatisation audit engagements. Tamás has also participated in IPOs and has been involved in the review of the quarterly reports of entities listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange, due diligence engagements and the quality control of financial institutions.
Bálint works in the field of audit and accounting advisory as a Partner of Deloitte Hungary. He has more than 10 years of experience in the audit of commercial and service companies operating in the real estate sector, as well as in the audit of individual and consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. He also has experience in education, he regularly teaches at Deloitte's internal training sessions and seminars for clients, he also gives lectures at universities.
Dániel is a Partner at Deloitte Technology Advisory Services. Daniel specializes in CIO advisory, IT transformation, digital transformation and systems integration and also has experience as an IT and project management trainer. With over 20 years in IT implementation, Dániel worked at multinational companies successful in the fields of software development, telecommunications and consulting.
Gábor is the Deloitte Private Lead Partner in Central Europe, he also leads the Real Estate Industry Group and is a member of the International Tax Group. He has a doctorate in law and is a certified tax advisor, joined Deloitte during his studies. He has gained more than 15 years of experience in developing local and international tax solutions, complex corporate group structuring and provision of transaction assistance to multinationals and the largest Hungarian Family Businesses. His expertise and experience includes, in particular, the provision of tax and legal assistance, within the scope of private and family related matters which affect individual owners, Gabor acts as a trusted family enterprise advisor. In his capacity as Real Estate Industry Leader his portfolio of clients includes many of the largest real estate players on the Hungarian and European market and he is also close to the Hungarian real estate business associations as the lead tax expert representing the real estate industry in public relations and policy matters.

Csaba is a Partner at Deloitte’s Tax department, leading the R&D and government incentives service line and the GDPR team. He has worked on a variety of EU legal and advisory matters for the European Commission, multinational companies, Central European corporates and governments. He also represented clients in front of the European Commission and European Court. Csaba has led several state aid projects and he is currently leading some advisory projects on maximizing and optimizing grants and incentives.
Albert is a partner at Deloitte Hungary Financial Advisory, and the Regional Head of Portfolio Lead Advisory Services. Albert has 16 years of experience in corporate finance as well as valuation and modelling services. Albert is a CFA charterholder.
Balazs is a Partner of Deloitte Central Europe and the regional CE VCS leader. His main responsibility is to lead and coordinate lead generation efforts in the financial services industry. He has 21 years of experience in corporate finance, valuation and transaction support advisory. During his career with Deloitte he managed and participated in several advisory projects both on sell-side and buy-side in the financial services industry, and through these projects he gained significant expertise in the financial services industry, especially in the banking and insurance sectors in Central Europe. Balázs is a CFA charterholder.
Péter possesses over fifteen years of audit experience. His expertise covers the audit of companies engaged in advertising, telecommunications, manufacturing and commercial activities and also has significant experience in the audit of IFRS financial statements. He is a chartered accountant certified by the Chamber of Hungarian Auditors.
Ferenc Póczak leads Deloitte’s Business Tax group in Hungary and he is the International Tax Service Line Leader for Deloitte Central Europe. He joined the tax advisory team of Deloitte in 2001, during his university studies. He acquired his degree in economy in Budapest. His expert field is the international structuring of the operation of multinational companies; in addition, he has a wide range of experience in tax advisory and transfer pricing in the areas of the transformation, acquisition, and merger of international companies.
Laszlo is a Partner at Deloitte Hungary Financial Advisory, focusing on Corporate Finance transactions and Post Merger Integrations with special focus on the Financial Services sector, leads Debt Advisory Services in Hungary, and is the Director of the Hungarian Sports Advisory. He has over 20 years of experience in banking and finance.
Tamás is partner at the Advisory service line of Deloitte Hungary offering strategy and operations services to financial institutions in the areas of digital strategy, digital transformation data analytics, and product and process development. Prior to joining Deloitte Tamás led the digital transformation programme of the OTP Group from 2016. Before that he had served as managing director of the Strategic, Planning and Controlling Directorate of OTP Bank. He has coordinated numerous new-wave programmes, such as designing E2E digital customer journeys, introduction of new tools in branch offices, creation of a data strategy, and improvement of internal operational efficiency. Tamás is well-experienced in preparing business plans, controlling reports and market analyses. He has participated in several acquisitions, business integration and product development projects. Before OTP he had worked for McKinsey & Co as a consultant and Concorde Securities as a stock analyst.
Zoltán is a Partner responsible for leading the IT Risk & Control service line at Deloitte Hungary. He has been performing and managing advisory projects for over 19 years, in various sectors with financial services sector focus. His expert area covers IT security, IT risk and control, data privacy, IT project management, and ITIL or COBIT-based testing of IT procedures. He has led many large scale complex advisory projects, even on regional level including IT audits, regulatory compliance reviews, IT risk assessments, ISO 27001 implementation support, business continuity management implementation, GDPR readiness and implementation. Zoltán holds CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) and CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification and he is a regular presenter in IT security related hot topics. He has been acting as Deloitte’s subject matter expert in various IT risk and security related topics (digitalization, data privacy, cyber strategy, etc.).
László is a Partner in Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services group. He has over 20 years IT security consulting experience. He performed numerous IT security penetration tests and security reviews in highly sensitive areas including the financial services, telecommunication, automotive and public sector clients. His expert areas are incident response, penetration testing and automotive security. László has published his unique research results regarding Oracle database security and Android mobile forensic. László Tóth's areas of expertise include Project management Incident response Penetration testing/Red teaming Social Engineering Application and infrastructure security Automotive security
Zsolt is a Partner in Deloitte Central Europe and he is member of the regional financial services team within the Financial Advisory. He has 16 years of experience in corporate finance, valuation, transaction support and PMI advisory. He has strong expertise in the financial services industry and long track record in the banking sector in Central Europe. Zsolt holds two masters degree one in Finance and one in Law. Between 2018 and 2019 Zsolt joined OTP as senior project leader reporting to the head of M&A leading a series of 6 successful acquisition projects of top banks in Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Montenegro, Moldova and Albania with total transaction value well over 1 bn EUR.
István 1998 óta dolgozik a Deloitte adórészlegén, 2008 júniusa óta partnerként. László is Partner at the Tax Department of Deloitte. He has extensive knowledge of taxation; he has been involved in several local and international tax structuring projects. He is specialized in the fields of international and corporate taxation, and he is familiar with mergers and acquisitions projects’ special taxation issues, including due diligence and corporate restructurings. His clients are mainly from the financial services, media and telecommunications sectors.
