Deloitte and Telefónica announced a collaboration to deliver leading-edge innovative technology solutions to clients globally within the scope of GSMA Open Gateway
BARCELONA, Spain – 27 February 2023 – Deloitte and Telefónica, during the Mobile World Congress 2023, announced a collaboration within the scope of GSMA Open Gateway, the global initiative to help transform telecommunications networks into developer-ready platforms. GSMA Open Gateway exposes telco network capabilities in an interoperable, intuitive, and programmable way through open and standardized APIs. This exposure can allow service developers to innovate new applications and functionalities, which may benefit the business community, end users and the digital society in general.
This collaboration should scale up customized solutions to a wider audience tailored to help meet specific client business needs. Deloitte’s leading industry knowledge and extensive commercial network should provide a faster go-to-market in each country where Telefónica operates.

Deloitte’s range alliances with OTTs, Hyperscalers and high-tech companies, which will enable Telefónica bring new technologies and leading-edge solutions. Deloitte’s may also be able to contribute to the collaboration as a tentative developer of solutions for third parties.
