Sarah  Fedele, Principal – Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory | Deloitte US

Sarah leads the US Internal Audit (IA) practice within Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory and is a member of Deloitte’s Global Internal Audit executive team. In these roles, Sarah and her teams are hyper-focused on efforts to modernize the IA profession and assisting our clients with not only delivering assurance to stakeholders but advising on critical business issues and better anticipating risk.

Deloitte Internal Audit is driving innovation in areas such as Agile IA, digital IA, IT IA, outsourcing/cosourcing, and Sarbanes-Oxley modernization and compliance, fully leveraging automation and our greenhouse labs. Sarah also leads Deloitte’s Chief Audit Executive program where she works closely with CAEs at every stage in their career journey to help them confidently manage the complexities and expectations of the role and to transform the way that they do business today.

Specific to client service delivery, Sarah is largely focused on the energy, resources, and industrials industry and stays current on understanding the trends, regulatory developments, and risks that are affecting the industry. She then helps to transform that information into a risk intelligent, industry-specific, internal audit strategy and plan for clients and prospective clients. With this focus, she has consistently demonstrated the value that internal audit can bring to an organization.
