Rutang is a Director in Deloitte UK's Financial Services Risk Advisory group. He leads on Enterprise-wide Risk Management engagements, especially Stress Testing, drawing on his experience in banking, insurance, a global credit rating agency and the energy sector and recently on climate-related topics.
Rutang has a PhD in a quantitative discipline, has worked on a range of analytical risk solutions and is experienced through the model lifecycle (model development, validation governance). In previous roles he has developed tools and techniques for risk measurement in areas such as market liquidity risk and credit concentration risk and project-managed regulatory submissions at Tier1 banks.
He is an active participant at professional risk bodies and a Visiting Fellow of the London Institute. of Banking and Finance. At Deloitte he is a relationship executive at one of our crown jewel clients.
