Nitish is a principal with Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory and leads the Operational Risk Management Services group. He has more than 20 years of experience in capital markets and risk and regulatory consulting. Nitish’s primary focus is the delivery of large multifaceted projects for clients in the financial services industry, specifically projects requiring review and transformation of risk operating models, risk and controls governance, and assessment and enhancement of operational risk management programs. Recently, Nitish has been assisting clients with the introduction of big data techniques and leveraging analytic and predictive models to deliver increased value to operational risk managers and their programs.
Nitish has performed several business and operational risk assessments, including strategic reviews of investment banks across risk culture and reputation, enhancements to the interaction model between 1LOD and 2LOD and the design and build of internal controls COEs, and a variety of RCSA, incident reporting, scenario analysis and operational risk modeling engagements. He has deep experience in capital markets and the sales and trading business at global banks.
