Michael is a partner in the Deloitte US International Tax and Transfer Pricing practice and leader of the US Business Tax practice in Deloitte North South Europe. He also leads the Global Tax Reset II offering across the Global Tax & Legal practice, which focuses on helping multinational enterprises navigate the global tax and statutory requirements related to major tax policy reform, Base Erosion & Profit Shifting (BEPS), and unilateral action by countries. Michael brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate taxation and more than 20 years of experience in international taxation. He serves large multinational companies in numerous industry sectors such as consumer business, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, medical devices, technology, manufacturing, and services. Michael has spoken before such organizations as Organization for International Investment, International Tax Institute, Center for Business Intelligence, Tax Executives Institute, Executive Enterprises and the International Fiscal Association, and at various Deloitte International Tax client events. He has been recognized a leading tax advisor in the International Tax Review’s Expert’s Guide to World’s Leading Tax Advisors. He is also an adjunct professor at Villanova School of Law, teaching Inbound International Tax. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Temple University School of Law, and an LLM in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law.
