Dr. Markus Schackmann joined Deloitte Legal in 2013. He is head of the global service line Mergers & Acquisitions. Dr. Markus Schackmann advises exclusively in the area of national and international mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures, in particular on the complete transaction process starting with the structuring of the transaction to the contract negotiations and the support of the financing. He advises strategic as well as institutional investors. Before joining Deloitte Legal Markus was the head of the service line M&A and head of the London office of Luther. Dr. Schackmann is lecturer of the Institute of Management at the Faculty of Management and Economics at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and at ESMT. Dr. Markus Schackmann speaks German and English.
