Mark Price

Public Service Leader | Deloitte Global

Mark Price is a Principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP US and the Global Government and Public Services Consulting (GPS) Leader. He also serves as Lead Client Service Principal (LCSP) for our work with the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Mark has more than 35 years’ experience leading strategy, operations, and technology transformation programs for a wide range of government, healthcare, and higher education clients. 

Mark has worked with clients to develop and implement digital strategies and solutions to transform their business and deliver outcomes for constituents. His experience spans tax and revenue, healthcare, human services, transportation, motor vehicles, energy, resources, finance and administration, and large-scale technology transformation. Mark has also led major transformation projects for several healthcare clients around the world and some of the leading higher education institutions in the US. 

Prior to joining Deloitte, Mark served as Head of Strategy and Business Planning for the University Hospital of Wales, one of the largest academic medical centers in the UK. Previously, Mark served as consultant with a boutique consulting firm in the UK where he conducted international strategy engagements for primarily high-tech clients. 

Mark contributes significantly to Deloitte research and publications and has been called upon to speak on the topic of transformation in government, healthcare, and higher education across the US and overseas. Mark holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of Wales, UK. 

Mark lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand before settling in the US. Mark and his wife Kim live near Boston, Massachusetts, and their twin children Adam and Olivia are currently at college. Mark is an avid cyclist and rides the Pan Mass Challenge every year to raise funds for cancer research.
