Lily is the national leader of the Deloitte China Sustainability & Climate practice. She leads the team assisting government and business clients in transitioning to low and net zero emissions, including formulating carbon emission strategies and roadmaps, setting up a circular supply chain, advising on ESG reporting and green financing, and providing green building consulting services.
Lily also serves as the national leader of the Indirect Tax, Customs and Global Trade, and GISC practice for Deloitte China. She has assisted many multinational corporations and domestic clients in dealing with complex tax issues relating to indirect tax and customs to achieve tax optimization as well as dealing with tax authorities on a wide array of matters. One of Lily’s key areas of focus is customs and indirect tax-optimized supply chains from various aspects such as customs valuation, classification, and using free trade agreements for both imports and exports. She also leads the Digital Transformation of Indirect Tax team and provides specialized and comprehensive digital solutions to clients. In addition, she leads the national Global Infrastructure Service Center which provides PPP, special bond or green bond services to the governments.
Lily is also the founder of the Business Process Solutions team. The team provides a wide range of services to the clients who outsource their accounting, payroll, treasury, IT and tax operations. The detailed service scope includes, but is not limited to, regular financial reporting and tax compliance services, foreign exchange settlement and remittance, payroll, treasury, technology, CFO services, projected management office services, and other ad-hoc tax and business advisory services.
Lily is a People’s Republic of China lawyer, engineer, and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
