Inês dos Santos Costa is responsible for the Climate & Sustainability service line in Risk Advisory. Prior to joining Deloitte, she was Secretary of State for the Environment between 2019 and 2022 and Deputy to the Minister of the Environment and the Minister of Environment and Energy Transition for the area of the circular economy between 2016 and 2018. She has more than a decade of experience in the areas of corporate sustainability and industrial ecology. Within these areas, she has developed work on environmental policies, waste management, ecoparks and industrial symbioses. In addition to holding a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, she is also the author and coauthor of scientific articles, books, and technical documents in industrial ecology.
