Helena Barton is a Partner and anthropologist (PhD) with 20+ years’ international experience in the intersection of risk management, compliance and reporting. She is a recognized expert in governance and communication of Sustainability impacts and ESG risks across the value chain.
Helena heads up the Deloitte Climate & Sustainability practice in the Nordics, leading a range of engagements in Risk Advisory, Audit and Assurance, including climate risk and reporting, corporate decarbonisation pathways, sustainable supply chain management, human rights due diligence, ESG investment screening, and integrated reporting and assurance.
Helena is Chair of the GRI’s Independent Appointments Committee, former Chair of the GRI's Stakeholder Council and ex-officio member of the GRI Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Global Forum for Sustainability. She is a member of Deloitte's Global Sustainability services leadership team and former EMEA leader for Deloitte's sustainability services.
