Claus is Tax Partner of Deloitte China in Hong Kong in the International Tax Services team. He has over 30 years of experience advising clients in Germany, Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
He is also the Co-leader of Deloitte's AP ICE (Asia-Pacific Core of Excellence) setup in Hong Kong. In AP ICE, we have senior tax specialists from 13 countries advising Chinese clients on their outbound investments to countries including Germany, Italy, UK, USA.
During his more than 20 years in Asia his clients included multinational groups from Europe and North America as well as Asian headquartered groups from the consumer goods, automotive, life science and healthcare and financial services industries.
He is a Certified German Tax Advisor, a member of the board of German Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong and the Vice-Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
