Brian is a Partner with over 25 years experience assisting complex global organizations undertake transformative activities. He currently has a dual role as our Carbon Accounting leader for the US, and as co-lead for our SAP Sustainability offerings in the US. In these roles, Brian is focused on supporting clients with requirements, data mapping, and controls supporting sustainability reporting. Brian and his team of specialists have helped dozens of clients across multiple industries in identifying business requirements and data strategies to support carbon accounting and climate reporting, and have hands-on experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA. Brian also works with many of Deloitte’s largest audit clients on a technical consultation basis relating to complex accounting matters. Brian previously led the Life Sciences and Health Care practice for Accounting and Reporting Advisory Services for 10 years.
He is a frequent speaker at conferences on industry issues and topics such as climate reporting and disclosures, statutory and regulatory reporting, and specialized accounting area, and the author of several points of view related to climate and sustainability reporting in the Wall Street Journal.
