Ava Cooper-Davis

Ava serves as Deloitte’s Global and U.S. Chief Security Officer, leading Deloitte’s safety and security program dedicated to protecting its 400k+ professionals across the globe. In her role, she oversees physical security, business continuity and disaster planning, executive protection, travel security, corporate investigations, among other key security areas.

She joined Deloitte’s security team in 2012 after retiring from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as a member of the Senior Executive Service. During her 30-year career at the DEA DC Field Office, she served in various leadership roles, including Special Agent in Charge (SAC), Chief of Operations Management, Deputy Chief of Intelligence, and Assistant Special Agent in Charge at Special Operations Division.

Born in Honduras, Central America, Ava is a fluent Spanish speaker. She’s a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City where she earned a BS in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Public Administration. Ava and her husband Jeff reside in Northern Virginia and are the proud parents of four daughters.
