Andreas Maywald

Andreas is the leader of the German tax desk within the International Core of Excellence (ICE) group since 2008. Andreas has extensive experience both in advising international clients wishing to invest into Germany and in advising German-based multinationals doing business outside of Germany.
Andreas joined Deloitte Germany in 2001. Before joining Deloitte, he was working for another big four accounting firm in New York. Prior to working as a lawyer and tax advisor Andreas was working as a tax inspector for the German tax administration. He has close to 25 years of experience in the field of international tax structuring and M&A.
Andreas is a German certified tax advisor. He holds a German law degree of the university of Freiburg/Germany and a French law diploma of the university of Grenoble/France. In addition, he holds a diploma as Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH) from the university of applied science in Edenkoben/Germany.
