Andrew is the leader of the Deloitte Global Audit Committee Program. Andrew also brings his experience as a partner at Deloitte Africa of 27 years, to lead a team dedicated to bringing value to one of Deloitte’s most significant stakeholder groups, the Audit Committee.
The work of the Audit Committee continues to be important. In today’s world, investors, other key stakeholders, and regulators often require more from boards. Much of this responsibility, which can extend beyond the company’s financial performance and into matters such as resilience, risk, cyber and artificial intelligence (AI) now falls to the Audit Committee.
Andrew was the managing partner, Audit & Assurance, Deloitte Africa from 2017 to 2022. He led the practice, spanning 17 countries, across 20 offices and cities.
Andrew also served as the lead audit partner for some of Deloitte Africa’s largest and most significant clients.
In 2022, Andrew joined the Global Audit & Assurance Leadership team, with responsibility for the Global Delivery Center Network, comprising 7,000 staff, in 12 locations around the globe. Andrew also led the Global Talent Transformation initiative, developing strategies in response to the shift in ways of working due to technology, innovation and AI.
