We are happy to announce that Deloitte has advised Metso Corporation, a frontrunner in sustainable technologies, end-to-end solutions and services for the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining industries globally, in the divestment of its Ferrous business to SMS group, a global company providing technology and services in plant construction and mechanical engineering for the metals industry. The signing of the deal was announced on 30 May 2025 and the successful closing was announced on 5 January 2026.
Deloitte provided Metso Corporation with vendor tax assistance and tax structuring services in each of the relevant jurisdictions.
