Journey and Meaning of Partnership: Jenny Lindvall’s Story

Deloitte offers a wonderful range of opportunities—throughout one’s career, there is a chance to do and learn a great variety of things.

I graduated from the University of Oulu in 2005 with a major in Accounting and started at Deloitte shortly after. A positive work atmosphere, flat hierarchy, and job variety have kept me here for a long time. I have also valued being able to influence my role and take on new challenges when I asked for them. Over my career, my clients, team, and responsibilities have evolved, so it doesn’t feel like I’ve been in the same place for so long. Deloitte truly offers a broadspectrum of opportunities, allowing one to grow and learn extensively.

I have always seen partnership as a possible career path but focused on doing my best in every moment, trusting that this would lead me forward. Partnership means shared responsibility for our firm, clients, and people. The longer I have worked here and taken on more responsibility, the more important and interesting I have found Deloitte’s collective matters.

Deloitte is a fantastic community where no one is left alone, and support is available at all career levels. I value teamwork over individual performance—collaboration always produces the best results. Audit has long been very international here, providing us with a broad network of experts and excellent practices and tools.

I encourage younger professionals to pursue what truly interests them, as motivation helps through tougher times. For example, I have found new enthusiasm by focusing on audit innovations such as automation, analytics tools, and artificial intelligence. Client organisations have also undergone fascinating changes during my career, bringing new challenges and deepening relationships. Recently, I have served as the Audit Talent & Purpose Leader. I am humbled and delighted to hold this important role—our people are our greatest asset.
