I joined Deloitte in 2005, shortly before completing my Master’s degree in Accounting at the University of Tampere. From the recruitment process onwards, I was impressed by Deloitte’s professional yet relaxed atmosphere, flat social hierarchy, combined with solid expertise and hard work. This impression has only strengthened over the years. What has kept me at Deloitte is not only the fresh environment but also continuously challenging tasks, fascinating clients, and wonderful colleagues. Mentors who believed in me and provided the right balance of responsibility and support have also played a key role. Our firm has grown rapidly in recent years, and it has been exciting to witness andcontribute to this dynamic change.
Early in my career, partnership was a distant possibility, but over time it became a concrete goal. This led me to plan my career more purposefully by developing my professional skills and expanding my client and colleague networks. Promotions before partnership strengthened my confidence that the firm trusts my work and recognises my potential. I have been fortunate to work as an auditor for technology sector growth companies, especially gaming firms, which rekindled a youthful passion of mine. These experiences continually energise me and have helped bring new clients and business from this sector to Deloitte.
As partners, we are responsible for our business, clients, and professionals, but
thankfully no one carries this responsibility alone at Deloitte. I firmly

Challenges inevitably arise, often beyond one’s control. I consider my strength in such situations to be the ability to focus sharply and block out distractions. Leadership is a continuous learning process—when mistakes happen, it’s important to acknowledge them openly and learn from them. In a demanding environment, taking care of oneself and maintaining well-being is essential to be the best version of oneself and to help others shine.
