Deloitte Leads AI+Cloud Applications to Empower Global Intelligent Operations

Announcing "Triple-100 Intelligent Transformation Initiative " & "DelphAI on Alibaba Cloud" in Apsara Conference 2025

From September 24 to 26 at Apsara Conference 2025, Deloitte showcased its strategic initiatives and professional capabilities in leading AI+Cloud applications to assist enterprises in global intelligent operations.

Deloitte, SAP, and Alibaba Cloud unveiled a strategic collaboration to accelerate enterprise ERP cloud adoption in China — the “Triple-100 Intelligent Transformation Initiative”. This is the first time the three parties have integrated strengths into a unified, end-to-end solution: cloud infrastructure (Alibaba Cloud), enterprise software (SAP Cloud ERP), and consulting services (Deloitte). The “300” means:

  • 100-Days Sprint: Onboard 20 qualified clients within 100 days.
  • Up to RMB 1 Million Support per Client: Joint incentives covering software, cloud, and services.
  • 100-Days Go-Live: Core functions go-live in 100 days via pre-built scenarios.

Meanwhile, Deloitte and Alibaba Cloud launched the "DelphAI on Alibaba Cloud". Deloitte promoted its generative AI platform and jointly introduced an AI accelerator service with Alibaba Cloud to drive enterprise adoption. Scott Sun, Deloitte China Consulting Engineering Offering National Managing Partner, emphasized balancing short-term validation with long-term capability building. Lou Heng, General Manager of AI Accelerator Solutions at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group's Public Cloud Business Unit, outlined a "three-step" strategy for AI deployment.

At the "SAP x Alibaba Cloud x Deloitte Joint Forum," Deloitte's partners explored how enterprises can reshape business value through technological modernization and architectural optimization in the digital era, under the theme "Cloud Empowers Intelligence, AI Drives Innovation."

Huang Xiaoyu, Deloitte China SAP Alliance Deputy National Managing Partner, advocated building a "Digital Core+" (ERP+) on SAP ERP systems for integrated processes, data standardization, and ecosystem connectivity. He proposed advancing  from "technical debt" to "technical health" by modernizing core systems with AI, big data, IoT, and blockchain to enable intelligent decisions and automated operations. Highlighted best practices cover financial intelligence, supply chain collaboration, manufacturing execution, customer management, and global operations control—applicable to manufacturing, new energy, and high-tech sectors.

In the industry domain, Deloitte's partners also shared strategic insights and best practices at the conference on topics such as AI transformation planning and governance in the auto sector, as well as global customer relationship management systems.

Shen Bin, Deloitte China Consulting Partner, identified automotive AI transformation challenges: planning deficits, execution hurdles, governance voids, and ambiguous ROI. Deloitte introduced its dual-track 'Empowerment × Governance' framework spanning organizational change, use case management, technical infrastructure, and compliance safeguards.

Ren Liang, Deloitte China Consulting Director, noted global automotive expansion challenges: divergent consumer demands, complex data privacy compliance, cross-cultural barriers, and localization gaps. Deloitte delivers end-to-end global CRM solutions that define market entry strategies, deploy adaptable CRM platforms, and optimize marketing-sales-after-sales processes to ensure consistent customer experience.

Systematic approaches, technological solutions, and client success cases addressing compliance enhancement and supply chain resilience challenges for multinationals in China and globalizing Chinese enterprises were presented by the Deloitte's partners.

Sun Tanwei, Deloitte China Consulting Customer Offering Portfolio National Managing Partner, outlined strategies for multinationals pursuing resilient growth in China amid tightening data compliance and local competition. He advocated deep technology and application localization, recommending localized IT infrastructure deployment, regional data operations, system isolation, and phased technical localization roadmaps. Deloitte enables enterprises to establish secure, compliant, and agile operational models supporting their "in China, for China" strategic transformation.

Xu Jiao, Deloitte China Consulting Sales & Service Offering National Managing Partner, detailed Deloitte's collaboration with Salesforce and Alibaba Cloud  to advance digital innovation in China. She emphasized that overcoming CRM localization challenges necessitates a full-cycle "advisory-implementation-operation" model, citing luxury automotive and domestic energy storage cases where key marketing metrics significantly improved. Xu Jiao positioned AI+CRM as a new growth engine, with Deloitte implementing AI applications including sales assistants and bid generation assistants to enable precision marketing, intelligent sales, and service efficiency.

Zhang Zhen, Deloitte China Consulting Partner, identified globalization challenges for Chinese enterprises and emphasized the necessity for comprehensive compliance systems spanning the full business lifecycle. Deloitte delivered end-to-end data compliance solutions exemplified by: supporting a European market entrant through legal framework alignment and system adaptations, while designing a unified compliance architecture for a new energy client expanding into Saudi Arabia and India. These initiatives focus on organizational governance, talent development, and compliance culture cultivation, enabling enterprises' transition from "passive certification" to "active governance" for sustainable global expansion.

Huang Chun, Deloitte China Consulting Partner, highlighted challenges for Chinese enterprises, including restructuring global supply chain, rising compliance risks, and insufficient localization capabilities. Companies must move from "going global" to the "deep operation" stage of Globalization 3.0, focusing on enhancing overseas organizational capabilities, deepening local market insights, optimizing supply chain layouts, advancing digital-intelligent transformation, and strengthening compliance management. Huang Chun recommended a leap from "product globalization" to "ecosystem globalization" through systematic strategic planning, leveraging Deloitte's global insights and localized solutions for sustainable growth and long-term success.

At the Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong and Macau Partner Dinner and Awards Ceremony, Deloitte China received Alibaba Cloud's "Advisory Partner of the Year" award, marking a new chapter in our digital innovation partnership.
