This funding opportunity provides a total budget of 230.7 million BGN to support investments in electricity storage facilities. Grants cover up to 50% of eligible costs, with a maximum of 156,466 BGN (excl. VAT) per 1 MWh of usable storage capacity and up to 49.6 million BGN per project.
Eligible applicants include existing and newly registered companies with minimum equity capital of 6 million BGN for projects between 20–50 MWh and 10 million BGN for projects above 50 MWh. Applicants must appoint a technical manager with proven experience in similar large-scale energy projects.
