Deloitte Legal strengthens People Law practice with the addition of experienced professionals

Edyta Defańska-Czujko joins Deloitte Legal as a partner and leader of the People Law/Employment Law & Benefits practice in Poland. The team is further expanded with a group of lawyers specialising in HR law.

Edyta Defańska-Czujko joins Deloitte Legal Poland as a partner and leader of the Polish People Law/ Employment Law & Benefits practice. Edyta is an attorney-at-law with 17 years of experience in providing legal advice in the field of broadly understood HR law. She has advised on complex, including cross-border, employee transfers and flexible forms of employment. In addition, she has extensive experience in advising on the remuneration of board members and senior management.

Previously, Edyta was a partner at CRIDO Legal, where she was responsible for the development of the employment law team and the firm's marketing. Prior to joining CRIDO, she established and developed the labour law practice in a Polish law firm, and before that, she was associated with a renowned law firm for 7 years, where she provided advice on labour law. HR teams managed by Edyta have been recognized several times in the renowned Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 legal rankings. 

 

Deloitte Legal's People Law Team Goes from Strength to Strength

 

In May, Agnieszka Anusewicz and Karolina Kalinowska will also join the Deloitte Legal team as senior managing associates. A month later, the team will be strengthened by the edition of Sabina Carbol-Majnusz (senior managing associate). The legal professionals have many years of experience in the field of HR legal consultancy, gained in renowned law firms.

The addition of Edyta and several experienced lawyers to the Deloitte Legal team is directly related to the growing interest of companies in employment law services. We believe that the knowledge and experience of the new team members will be instrumental in assisting companies in today’s dynamically changing regulatory landscape.
