The Covid-19 pandemic has brought upon devastating impacts on Bermuda’s hospitality sector, which is an important cog for the local economy.
Summary
We believe that businesses in the hospitality sector, such as hotels, have by now exhausted the short to medium term measures they previously put in place to deal with the pandemic. However, it is likely that the impacts of the pandemic will continue to be felt for the foreseeable future. As a result, we think that players in the hospitality sector should adjust their lenses accordingly and consider their options – from a long term/strategic perspective – in order to enhance their chances of survival and/or thriving in the long term.
The brochure, “Perspectives on the Bermuda hospitality sector: Strategic considerations for the hotel industry” provides a high level outlook on some of the strategic considerations for players in the hotel industry that our Restructuring Services team can support stakeholders with. The brochure is meant for corporates, lenders and/or investors in the hotel industry. Our expectation is to hold in-depth one on one conversations with interested stakeholders where we will discuss in detail the topics covered in the brochure depending on their particular circumstances.
