Patricia Muricy is the Mining & Metals leader at Deloitte Brazil. From 2017 to 2019, she was also the chair of Deloitte Brazil’s Growth Committee, which focuses on increasing the number of women in leadership positions within the Brazilian member firm. With more than 22 years of experience, Muricy started her career with Deloitte in 1997 in Rio de Janeiro. She has also worked in Deloitte Canada as a part of their Global Development Program. From 2013 to 2019, Muricy led the Risk Advisory practice in Rio de Janeiro with a group of 200 professionals that provided services in all risk categories: strategic and reputation, regulatory, operational, cyber, and financial. In 2020, Muricy was named as one of the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining released by Women in Mining UK in 2020. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and information technology and an MBA in finance.
