Our Superannuation and Investment Advisory team provides an extensive range of quantitative and qualitative services for superannuation funds, investment management funds and private wealth. Our focus areas include:

• Superannuation mergers – We are a lead adviser of superannuation fund mergers. Our services range from initial screening of likely partners and assessment of member benefits as a result of the merger, all the way through to systems & operational due diligence and target operating model (design and implementation)
• Superannuation analytic reviews – We can assist funds with all aspects of member best financial interest (MBFI) assessment, as well as other analytics across their fund such as performance return testing, fees and expense benchmarking, APRA reporting independent review, member behaviour analysis and data quality assessment and uplift. We also independently produce market projections of the superannuation and investment markets to provide tailored modelling for clients to understand the future impact of changing regulations and/or trends.
• Actuarial pensions services – This is core traditional actuarial services around defined benefit calculations and certifications, for public sector and corporate funds.
• Retirement Incomes – We provide a complete suite of services for funds around their obligations under the Retirement Income Covenant. This includes retirement strategy, retirement product design and actuarial certification and member retirement tools and calculators. Our team has a deep knowledge of the Australian retirement income landscape, as as well as sophisticated technical understanding of the legislative framework, meaning we can confidently provide our clients with educational and engagement tools that can be used by their members to improve retirement understanding and education and awareness.
• Insurance in superannuation – We assist funds with all aspects of their insurance for members, including member benefit assessment and design, pricing reviews, tender preparation and management and claims operational reviews.
