Courageous Principals

Deloitte's award-winning school leadership development program that aims to create exceptional leaders in education

Deloitte’s Courageous Principals program, is an award-winning, global school leadership development program focused on honing relationship-building, communication, change management, and influencing skills of school leaders.

The program forms part of the Deloitte WorldClass program, an initiative launched by Deloitte’s global CEO Punit Renjen to link people with the opportunities they need to find meaningful work in the accelerated, digital, technology-driven economy.

Through this carefully constructed 2.5 day program, school leaders will refine the skills necessary to foster positive interactions and manage change – with the goal of enhancing school leader effectiveness and, ultimately, student achievement.

We are leveraging Deloitte’s network of relationships to form a unique public-private collaboration, bringing together leaders from business, not-for-profit, state and local government and the education sector. This gives our participants the opportunity to share, connect and learn from leaders across different sectors and geographies.

This training will be led by experienced Deloitte professionals, co-facilitated by accredited educators drawn from across the sectors, including Independent Schools Victoria.

The curriculum is engaging and dynamic with problem-based learning, peer-to-peer interaction and collaborative sessions. But the program doesn’t end when the sessions conclude – participants will receive extensive take-home guides and tools to encourage retention and sharing of information with staff and colleagues.
