• Treasury & Risk Assurance (T&R)

Our financial services (banking, insurance and superannuation) service offerings to Australia's largest publicly owned companies, global corporations, private businesses and the three tiers of government are delivered by a team of specialists through advisory and audit channels. Our differentiated support covers all aspects of treasury and financial risk management, including governance, controls, regulatory advice, accounting for derivatives, treasury technology, global cash management, outsourced accounting, model validation, credit provisioning and internal/external audit support, to name a few.

• Regulatory Assurance & Operate
  

Operate sees us run, maintain and enhance our clients’ existing services on a recurring basis. The team are specialists in overcoming complex and large-scale operational processing challenges with a focus on quality, speed and fair outcomes for our clients’ customers, and we combine this together with experts in financial services regulation, who assure key frameworks, processes and controls are operating as intended.

Our team comprises specialist advisors in finance function assurance, large accounting transactions, and specialised finance outsourcing, providing advice across a wide range of industries and various levels of government.

IT Controls

IT systems and networks are integral to a business's success. In today’s corporate landscape, IT ecosystems are becoming increasingly complex. With greater complexity comes greater risk. That’s why our team exists. Working with our Finance Audit team, we assist our clients in understanding the maturity of the controls that govern their IT systems in support of financial risks.

What will you get to do?

• Liaise with clients to understand their business processes, system interfaces, and IT infrastructure.
• Investigate and confirm if the client’s IT controls are designed and implemented effectively to address specific financial audit risks.
• Help the team ensure controls align with industry standards and best practices.

Analytics Solutions

Our A&A Analytics Solutions team uses a combination of data insights, modelling, digital technologies, machine learning and automation to transform and re-imagine audit processes. We're absolute data nerds and love working with numbers and large data sets (the more unstructured, the better!).

What will you get to do?

• Attend client meetings to scope problems and subsequently clarify and refine requirements.
• Transform and analyse client data, developing your ability to use analytical tools like SQL, Python, Tableau and R.
• Learn or develop your programming skills in Python, C# or JavaScript while enhancing our analytics platform.
